Jessica L. Colbert

Jessica L. Colbert is the 2017-2019 Resident Librarian at the University of Utah's J. Willard Marriott Library. Her work and research examine the relationship between language and power within libraries, informed by her love of pretentious French linguists-turned-theorists. She thought her cataloging career would make her the lesbian Sandy Berman, but it's shaping up to be more like Hope A. Olson, and she likes that a bit more. Outside of work, she rewatches the X-Files with her lizard and partner and tries to perfect her vegan macaroni and cheese. One day, she will finish Infinite Jest, but today is not that day.
