Cory Lown is an NCSU Libraries Fellow. He divides his time between Collection Management and Digital Library Initiatives (DLI). In Collection Management he is working on a project to collate in novel ways data maintained by the Libraries and the University in order to show how the Libraries supports various departments, schools, and institutes across campus. The resulting statistics can be used to help collection managers make decisions, and to demonstrate the Libraries' contribution to research and teaching within specific domains. In DLI he contributes as a developer for a variety of technology projects. He enjoys using technology to solve data problems and to provide services in innovative ways.
