    Ross Singer is Interoperability and Open Standards Champion for Talis, a position that consists mainly with writing proofs-of-concept applications, helping shepherd open specifications into library projects and generally working with, promoting and enabling library technology communities.  Previously, he worked as a developer in academic libraries:  most recently at Georgia Tech, but also at Emory University and the University of Tennessee.

    Being Talis' sole North American employee, he works from his home in Chattanooga, TN.  He blogs at the Dilettante's Ball and is a regular in the #code4lib IRC channel as well as the Code4lib community at large.
