I’m Jenny Ellis. I work as Web and Digital Projects Librarian at Nashville Public Library. I’ve done extensive public and staff training on technology, designing and teaching computer classes and ebook download help sessions, and presented on emerging technologies for libraries and archives. With my colleague, Kyle Cook, I manage the library’s web presence, perform user experience testing, develop new web projects, and work on web and digital signage design. I hold an MFA in painting from Ohio University and an MLIS from the University of Alabama. I am passionate about giving library users the best service I can. When I’m not working, I’m usually in a woodworking shop or at a Minor League Baseball park.
