About Nora Almeida

Nora Almeida is a Brooklyn based librarian and poet. She currently works as the Reserve Coordinator at Baruch College's Library, where she manages a robust textbook collection and electronic reserve program and provides copyright guidance to faculty.  Nora has been bouncing around in higher education since 2007, when she began teaching as an adjunct and her idea of hybrid education was screening the occasional YouTube video. She is a founding editor of the poetry and art magazine, Staging Ground. More information about her library and poetry related ventures can be found here.
