About Brittany Paloma Fiedler

Brittany Paloma Fiedler is a Teaching and Learning Librarian at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she supervises Mason Undergraduate Peer Research Coaches, coordinates outreach events, and teaches information literacy. She also serves as a Trustee for the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. She holds an MSLIS from UIUC and an MA and BS from UNLV. Her scholarly interests include how libraries can better serve traditionally underserved students, critical pedagogy, and the experiences of academic librarians of color. Brittany was a 2015-2016 Spectrum Scholar and 2018 Emerging Leader. Before entering academia, she was an English teacher and a middle school librarian. Follow her on bluesky @bpfiedler
