About Brittany Paloma Fiedler

Brittany Paloma Fiedler is a Teaching and Learning Librarian at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she coordinates information literacy instruction for the university’s first-year composition program. She holds an MS/LIS from UIUC and an MA and BS from UNLV. Her scholarly interests include how libraries can better serve traditionally underserved students, critical pedagogy, and the experiences of academic librarians of color. Brittany was a 2015-2016 Spectrum Scholar and 2018 Emerging Leader. Before entering academia, she was an English teacher and a middle school librarian. Follow her on Twitter @bpfiedler
