Kalani Craig

Kalani Craig is Associate Professor of History at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and was Associate Professor of History at Indiana University-Bloomington during the crafting of this essay. Her primary focus is the design of digital tools and platforms that shape new historical and humanistic methods, which she uses in collaborative research with colleagues and in publicly-engaged research. Her collaborations currently include the NSF-funded Net.Create network analysis tool for humanists, the ACLS-funded DigitalArc community-led digital-archiving team, and the Videntes Multi-Spectral Imaging Collective.
