About Michelle Dalmau

Michelle Dalmau is Director of Digital Collections & Digitization Services for the Indiana University (IU) Bloomington Libraries. In this role, Michelle provides leadership and vision for core and emerging digital library and preservation services in support of the Libraries’ strategic initiatives and the University’s teaching and research mission. Michelle's research areas range from the creation of scholarly editions to organizational trends and practices around digital libraries and digital scholarship. More recently, Michelle has been exploring non-custodial approaches to community-led digital archiving as part of the ACLS-funded DigitalArc project (https://digitalarcplatform.github.io).
